RESUME Professional Experience:
current-2002 Mosaica Artisana, Owner and artist Design, fabricate, and install custom mosaics for commercial, residential and public art applications. 2008- SKILAK and FUEGO DE CORAZON selected for Sum of All Parts: Contemporary Mosaic Art in North America, a juried exhibition at the Walters Cultural Arts Center, Hillsboro, Oregon 2007 SKILAK and FUEGO DE CORAZON selected for Ancient Languange-Modern Translation, an juried Invitational Exhibit at the Granville Center for the Arts in Garland, Texas. 2007 FUEGO DE CORAZON selected for juried exhibition at Atelier Feyerabend Hubler, Miami, Florida. 2005 ORO selected for juried group show at Atelier Feyerabend Hubler,. Commission work for private homes (various). 2004 Selected to exhibit in the Avenue of the Artisans at Coverings, largest international trade show for mosaics, tile, natural stone and installation materials. 2004 Commission of 2 mosaics for a private home in Miami, Florida. Included a fine art mosaic for the foyer and mosaic mirror for the guest bathroom. 2003 Commission- Design, fabrication, and installation of 6’x6’ mosaic in the entryway of Churchills, an upscale men’s salon in Miami, Florida. 2003 Solo exhibition of fine art mosaics at La Loggia in Miami, Florida. 10 mosaics were shown for a 2 month exhibition. 2003 Several mosaics commissioned for private collections in Miami, Florida. 2002 UPSTREAM- Environmental Public Art Installation. Design, fabrication and installation of work in Greenough Park, Missoula, Montana for the Missoula Park and Recreation Department. Glass mosaic installed onto a granite boulder with complimentary metal plaque. UPSTREAM allowed me to blend my artwork with my education in Environmental Studies and my interest in community enhancement and involvement. Attend lectures, presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for 3 days. 2003 Hard Hat Workshop- Santa Fe Design Studio Taught by Eric Rattan, two time winner of the Spectrum Award for custom stone and mosaic fireplaces.
